WELCOME.
Writing middle-grade fiction is the culmination of my journey as a researcher and educator.I became a decorative art historian after falling in love with historical objects and the places that house them. For decades, I shared this love in person—journeying with museum visitors through gallery exhibitions and historic homes. Now, as an author, I have the opportunity to take my readers on immersive journeys across pages—filled with quirky characters surrounded by natural wonders, fanciful architecture, and extraordinary objects, as they solve challenging cryptology quests.I am a member of Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, Detroit Working Writers—current Vice President, American Alliance of Museums, and Michigan Museums Association. I hold an MA in the History of Decorative Arts, an MS Ed in Leadership in Museum Education, and a BA in Art History.Engaging museum audiences of all ages and raising a gifted scholar and artist have inspired me to share my love of story, object, and play.HAPPY READING. BE WELL.
