WELCOME.
Writing middle-grade fiction is the culmination of my journey as a researcher and educator.
I became a decorative art historian after falling in love with historical objects and the places that house them. For decades, I shared this love in person—journeying with museum visitors through gallery exhibitions and historic homes.
Now, as an author, I have the opportunity to take my readers on immersive journeys across pages—filled with quirky characters surrounded by natural wonders, fanciful architecture, and extraordinary objects, as they solve challenging cryptology quests.
I am a member of Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, Detroit Working Writers, American Alliance of Museums, and Michigan Museums Association. I hold an MA in the History of Decorative Arts, an MS Ed in Leadership in Museum Education, and a BA in Art History.
Engaging museum audiences of all ages and raising a gifted scholar and artist have inspired me to share my love of story, object, and play.
HAPPY READING. BE WELL.
